SoulMates
An extraordinary novel
Find hope. Be inspired.

Dear Readers,
Until I get into the hang of things, I don’t know how frequently I will be posting here.
It will be very relaxed and conversational and I will not be using proper grammar or spell check.
Take it warts and all, or leave it – it won’t be everyone’s cuppa.
This blog will also likely be different, off the wall, random, and not just about SoulMates, fer sher.
That “fer sher” was how the kids in school talked when I moved from Long Island, New York to the San Fernando Valley in the mid 1960s.
Oh, that was a clulture shock. And a move to a place I was prepared to hate.
I was being uprooted – torn from my friends, my home, and the life that I had known for eight years. There was nothing I could do about it, but I wasn’t going to like it.
Then came that moment when I stepped out of the plane onto the platform in LAX, and the warm, salty breeze from the Santa Monica Bay kissed my lips. And I saw my first palm trees.
Oh, I was a goner. Hooked.
Until that fateful morning in 1971 when living in North Hollywood in the Valley, and the Sylmar Earthquake struck.
And I fell. And Buddy was born because of that fall. And that fall propelled my first husband, my first son, and I, eastward to a different valley. The Shenandoah Valley.
But, that’s another post.
TTFN
Love & hugs,
Christina
